For 2009 the General Youth Division and AYI are continuing a contest created to engage Apostolic young people in SFC fundraising. The winner from Iowa will be flown by AYI to the World Evangelism Center in St. Louis, MO for an exclusive weekend with the Executives of the General Youth Division!
The Real McCoy Weekend will take place in November 2009. Contest kick-off begins April 15th and the contest concludes on September 7th.
Contestants will be judged on:
- Money raised (a minimum of $1,000 must be raised)
- District Involvement (i.e. attendance at Campmeeting, sectional rallies, Youth Conventions)
- Church Involvement
- Effort and Creativity
Contest winners will:
- Participate in a photo shoot. TPhotos taken during this session will be used in GYD promotional materials and publications for calendar year 2010!
- Demolition Ball: A hybrid game that fuses bumper cars and lacrosse!
- Tour of World Evangelism Center
- A special chapel service
- Focus group forum
- Food, fellowship, and fun!
- Lazer tag
Age Limit: 12 – 25 single, never married*
A sponsor must accompany winners under the age of 16. The winner from each district is allowed to be accompanied by an adult age 21 or older. This sponsor will be responsible for his/her own expenses for
traveling to St. Louis.

A well recognized mantra for Sheaves for Christ as been that it "moves the gospel". Since 1952, the General Youth Division has helped men and women share the gospel all around the world by hosting fundraisers to facilitate endtime revival.
